When Dad woke up he had some unsettling news for us all. The Lord had commanded him to take the entire family on an extended camping trip. Not only was this unexpected, it was really bad timing. Sam was starting his mat-weaving apprenticeship, Mom had just bought a pair of cockatiels, and poor Lemuel had recently gotten himself a girlfriend. (Actually the call to flee Jerusalem was probably a good thing for Lemmy; he didn’t have much in the self-control department, if you know what I mean.)
