I sang I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus at my baptism, so it's always been one of my favorites. I'm glad Jenny (my primary chorister) was inspired to requested a mash-up of I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus and Tell Me the Stories of Jesus.

In the last verse I sacrificed beauty for simplicity. It should be easy for the kids to sing both verses together, but the pianist will have to play lightly and quickly to avoid dwelling on weird dissonance.
