In the vision, the Twelve followed Christ down to Earth, where they set to work living the lives of men and fulfilling the Father’s will. Dad was so caught up in the montage of the Apostles’ missions that it took him a moment to notice the supernova coming straight toward him. Dad barely managed to remain upright as Christ presented him with a worn, silver-bound book and told him to read. Right away Dad knew what this meant; the Lord had a mission for him, just like Isaiah and the rest of the old-school prophets.
